    We invite you to our next Mexican Monday on April 21st with professor emerita Jean Franco. Her talk “Biseccionado. Cultural consequences of a militarized border” focuses on the shift in Mexican culture, formerly centered in Mexico City. She will document the growing importance of culture on the border, especially in Tijuana and its focus on the drug trade and on the specificity of border culture.
